In her latest works, Emma paints animals as mediators of expressing the human experience with the view to explore social issues through a passive, yet amusing, whimsical lens. Encouraging the viewer to let their imagination run wild. The Green Room shows animals existing harmoniously in a rather surreal, but cozy atmosphere; unfortunately not in their natural habitat but rather taking over the urban environments that have sprung up and taken over around them.
