My Orbital Sequence works merge wax collagraph printmaking with encaustic painting. Each begins as a print on paper, mounted onto panel and layered with clear wax and oil paint to echo the printed textures and add depth. Within Intersections, their circles and intersecting lines evoke orbital paths and celestial mapping, extending the exhibition’s exploration of navigation, movement, and change. An ancient, tactile medium gives physical form to imagery inspired by contemporary science.
