白雨，則不再一味崇信巍峨壯麗的巨碑式山水，甚至更多是對於傳統的辯證與提問，進而釐清自己如何逐步認識這個既小又大的世界。在展出的作品中，可見他改以盈掌可握的石頭為對象，透過偶爾遠眺偶爾近觀，向度拉得極大的視角，卻一致細膩且緩慢地描繪，讓歷經風雨歲月洗禮的巨巖地佇立在畫面中間，有時彷彿神話傳奇裡的仙山樓閣，有時則一如孤懸海中的島嶼，卻毫無例外地都展露出冷靜而和緩的內斂情感。
