1965出生台東，1984年進入攝影職埸，開始學習商業攝影，其間接觸了台灣商業攝影中各種不同領域的客層，從早期拍低單價的外銷雜誌，到專門製作型錄的設計公司，最後才接觸到4A廣告。1997年7月，創立綠田攝影有限公司，主要業務以廣告公司為主，專營藝人代言的廣告及商品拍攝。
三十多年的攝影資歷，其中執行過無數國內外知名廣告，同時也得過許多國內外平面廣告大獎，但仍不斷精進自己的技藝，鑽研不同的拍攝方式，例如，為了嘗試水中攝影的領域，2005年特別在德國訂製了中片幅相機的防水盒，無論是在當時或現在，都是最高階的水中攝影系統，歷經十年的學習與測試，研發出一套獨步全球的拍攝模式。2016年開始投入藝術攝影的領域，定訂一個思想主軸為目標，來詮釋自身對攝影的看法。

Having worked more than 30 years as a photographer Chun Chun is a recognized artist in the world of images, this time as part of the great international photo event, he presents his collection Form Initiale. In his photographic works, there is an eternal question: the difference between the initial form and the form by the photographic object.
Began the career as a commercial photographer since 1984, Liu has been dealing with clients from various fields. Started from shooting for exported magazines, to customised catalogues for design corporation, he worked all the way up to the 4A’s advertising photography.
Greenwindow Photo Studio was established by Liu in June 1997, which mainly works with advertising agencies and specialising in photographing celebrity endorsements and products.
Within more than thirty years of experience in photography industry, Liu has done many well known advertisement projects and honoured by several print advertising photography awards both domestically and internationally. Despite of the success in commercial photography, he continues honing his skills by exploring different methods in terms of photo shootings. For example, in 2005, he ordered the watertight housing for medium format camera from German in order to study underwater photography intensively. No matter back then or nowadays, it has been the highest level of underwater photography system. The ten years he has spent on researching and testing leads to an unparalleled way of photographing under the water.
Liu stepped into fine art photography in 2016 for interpreting his own philosophy on photography.
