In We Bloom Despite, chaos and beauty exist side by side. Layers of energetic green splatters and textured movement create a backdrop that feels untamed and unpredictable. From this intensity, wild daisies rise — thick with paint, sculpted with palette knife, rooted and radiant. A monarch butterfly pauses among them, drawn to their quiet strength.

This piece was born from spontaneity rather than expectation. Instead of painting to fit a theme or competition, I allowed instinct and emotion to guide the process. Heavy texture and expressive layering became a release — a return to creating on my own terms.

The daisies are not defiant; they are calm, confident, and joyful. They do what wildflowers do — they bloom. Even in chaos. Even when conditions are imperfect.

We Bloom Despite is a reflection of resilience without struggle, growth without apology, and beauty that persists naturally. It invites viewers to consider their own “despite” — and the ways they continue to flourish anyway.
