'Twin Light' is a two-block reduction woodcut with five colors. The original woodblock was carved from old furniture, giving it a unique shape. Don printed half of the edition on Kozo cream paper and the other half on medium-laid white paper.

The reduction woodcut 'Twin Lights' is a fanciful memory of the monumental light towers built two centuries ago. They warn mariners of the dangers of navigating the Cape Ann coastline. The Twin Lights are located on Thatcher Island off Rockport, MA, and they still operate, with an occasional schooner passing by—a reflection of both past and present.
