Mother's Day, Annisquam
2 public editions
The Annisquam Light House is situated on Cape Ann and marks the entrance to the Annisquam River. The reduction woodcuts "Annisquam Light' and 'Mother's Day, Annisquam' provide two views of the classic New England lighthouse. Both designs were editioned consecutively in the spring of 2020.
The first color printed is the bright white of the lighthouse. The second color is an atmospheric white found in the sky and throughout the landscape. The other colors follow the order from light to dark, enhancing the brilliant white of the lighthouse.
