About the artist

Max Gunther

1927-1998

Max Gunther is known for Abstract cityscape painting, lithographs. Born in Zurich in 1934, he studied in his hometown as well as in Paris, France. Gunther lived in Scandinavia, and London, England before he went to Italy. He toured the U.S. in 1962, in connection with his first exhibits here.
