This award winning artwork is a highly detailed painting of a dragonfly with translucent, intricately veined wings. The dragonfly is shown with its body extending vertically down the center of the canvas. The wings are spread symmetrically and are superimposed over a circular background that depicts a landscape with a colorful sunset.
Surrounding the circular background is a ring featuring various phases of the moon, from new moon to full moon, creating a celestial theme. The entire composition is set against a white background, which is adorned with subtle circular patterns also in white, enhancing the overall ethereal and naturalistic quality of the piece.
