This was a long-awaited gift for my only sibling, my sister. She gave me the color palette of white, peach, navy & pastel pink. As the work emerged this big red "P' surfaced and I didn't want to hide that. It became a representation of one of our greatest memories together, a trip to Paris in 2002. The piece is titled "Is it Possible", from an unpredictable moment when we were chased by a souvenir peddler under the Eiffel Tower at 1am. The gentleman kept asking, "Is it possible...." in which my feisty sister would immediately cut him off and exclaim, "Impossible!". My message to her with this, is not only reflective of that story, but that in life, everything is possible.
