Young Pug, acrylic on canvas. This is a painted portrait of an adorable pug puppy rendered in a loose, expressive painting style against a deep black background. The pug is depicted with its characteristic wrinkled, pushed-in muzzle, large soulful dark eyes, and compact, stocky body, rendered primarily in shades of white, cream, and soft blue-gray, giving the fur a cool, luminous quality. The brushwork is visible and gestural, lending the piece a textured, painterly feel, and the artist's signature is visible in the lower left corner. The puppy is seated and facing forward, with a slightly melancholic yet endearing expression that captures the gentle, lovable nature of the breed.
