Blue-footed boobie, acrylic on wood panel. This is an acrylic painting of a **blue-footed booby**, depicted in a charming, slightly comical pose with its head tilted inquisitively toward the viewer. The bird is rendered with impressive detail, showcasing its white and brown-streaked plumage, bright yellow eyes, and its most distinctive feature — vivid blue-green webbed feet, which are prominently displayed at the base of the composition. The background is a moody, atmospheric teal-blue, giving the painting a rich, painterly quality. A small artist's signature is visible in the lower left corner, suggesting this is an original work. The overall tone is whimsical yet naturalistic, capturing both the quirky personality and the physical characteristics of this beloved Galápagos seabird.
