“Connie’s Pond” is a vibrant celebration of nature’s abundance, inspired by the tranquil beauty of a garden at sunset. This 30x40" limited edition giclée on canvas—originally created as a large-scale mural—invites viewers into a lush, immersive landscape where color and light dance across every surface.

A majestic tree anchors the left side of the composition, its branches reaching over a tapestry of blooming hollyhocks and vivid red flowers. The pond at the heart of the scene reflects the warm, golden hues of the setting sun, creating a sense of peace and timelessness. In the foreground, delicate blossoms in pinks and blues frame the view, while a single bee hovers over a blue flower, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all living things.

My approach here blends the influence of Renaissance masters with the expressive color and brushwork of Impressionism. Thick, painterly strokes and a rich palette bring the garden to life, while careful attention to light and atmosphere gives the piece its sense of depth and serenity. Every detail—from the ripples on the water to the koi swimming below—invites you to linger and discover something new.

“Connie’s Pond” is more than a landscape; it’s an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the natural world. Perfect for any space that could use a touch of warmth and inspiration.
