Alyssa McFarland is a Eugene, Oregon-based artist specializing in acrylic painting and mixed media collage. Originally from Newark, Delaware, she began painting at the age of nine and was inspired to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Delaware. After 30 years of residing in Seattle, Washington, Alyssa relocated to Oregon, bringing with her a rich artistic background that included experiences volunteering at Critical NW (a local Burning Man event), Puppeteers of Puget Sound and working at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Alyssa has worked in a variety of artistic mediums, including collage, watercolor, drawing, acrylic and oil painting, as well as yarn crafts, and she is currently exploring pet portraiture.
