I captured several pictures of these two people standing together on the rocks as the last warm light settled over the ocean, quietly sharing the view—and the moment—with one another. Select copper accents trace small areas of existing rim light on the figures and rocks, bringing warmth and dimension to the canvas without overwhelming the silhouettes. The photograph considers community at its most intimate scale: two people, one place, and an experience made more meaningful because it is shared.
