Nathan McCall is a Coronado native who has recently returned to the town with his family. He plans to capture local scenes both en plein aire and in studio work. A graduate of Coronado High School where he enjoyed art classes with Mrs. Ussery, he continued with a few art classes at the University of Redlands while studying Math. After earning a graduate degree in Geographic Information Systems and beginning a career with a mapping software company, where he is now a Program Manager, he has recently started painting in his spare time. In addition to painting, he also enjoys photographing the local birds, sometimes paddling out on his paddleboard with his camera for closer looks.
