Printing Possibility explores the unseen creative process of fine art printmaking. Sometimes people use the word “print” to describe a copy of a painting or a photo, often printed from a digital file. But in art, a print can also be an original artwork made by an artist using a special manual process. Some printmaking methods have been around for hundreds of years. Others were developed recently. Artists now can use traditional methods, newer experimental ones, or combine both. Find out how artists use their ideas and favorite print methods to create unique prints. Most of the hard work happens behind the scenes. You see captivating, finished artwork. But the magic is made possible when ink and imagination meet .
This exhibit features artwork by the following female printmakers working in Colorado; Taiko Chandler, Catherine Chauvin, Carol Till, and Lydia Riegle. It was organized in celebration of Month of Printmaking Denver and Women’s History Month, both in March 2026.
