About the artist

Pat Monroe

I’ve been making mosaics for about twenty years and have experimented with just about every material including marble, glass, photos and recycled pottery. I like to include classical figures and still life imagery in my work. My Summer Gardens are inspired by the French painter, Raoul Dufy, who made them out of clay and painted them with beautiful mermaids and sea shells.
