About the artist

Marcia Soloff

These photographs were shot in Mexico and Cuba. Children, so central to Latin culture, became a lens into places with which I had been unfamiliar, yet in which I felt immediately at home. Their spontaneity and sense of freedom in play are universal and convey their culture and circumstances. It was my heart that took these images and in my heart, they remain.
