Messages of Hope: Art Workshops
Art created by kids and families at Brent’s Place
The framed art in this section was created by kids and their families during art workshops led by Kristina Davies. These works were based upon lessons in Notan, a Japanese art form focusing on compositions using dark and light space; collage, creating self-portraits using different materials from magazines and colorful paper, and abstract design, using a grid system, text and drawing, inspired by the art of Harold Hollingsworth.
