The painting in the center is a recreated version of Gustav Klimt’s The Kissand the 2 figures represent hope for a brighter, better future in the midst of this pandemic. The gold border on the outside shows howduring these hard dark times there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This piece speaks to the theme of I’m Herebecause it shows the dark uncertain times of 2020, via the newspaper in the background and the figures in the center show the resilience people showed during that time.

79 nuevos casos es una pieza sobre la resiliencia y la esperanza en tiempos aterradores y sin precedentes. El cuadro del centro es una versión recreada de The Kiss (El beso)de Gustav Klimt y las dos figuras representan la esperanza de un futuro mejor y más brillante en medio de esta pandemia. El borde dorado de la parte exterior muestra cómo en estos duros tiempos de oscuridad hay una luz al final del túnel.
