Bridget usually has a long list of characters from Celtic mythology she wants to draw. Dragons, faeries, and magical trees populate her work. Characteristically, she draws with pencil first, confidently creating her forthright compositions. She then patiently lays in colored pencil. She applies several layers of color, as many as six, overlaid in careful, even hatching, resulting in velvety, rich colors. Bridget also expresses her connection to her ancestral heritage through her Celtic-inspired jewelry designs. She is exploring sculpture and stop motion animation as further means of expressing her storytelling nature.
