Seth uses a very methodical approach when creating his artwork. He always begins a new piece by neatly printing his name and the date in the upper lefthand corner of the paper. He uses manual drafting in traditional form to create detailed drawings of vintage cars, using pencil, a ruler, and a drafting triangle. Seth is also drawn to explorations of plant life and abstractions in watercolor. He is fascinated by tints, shades and tones, and will often include a small “map key” to the range of pencil tones or watercolor palette he’s working with alongside the image being created.
