About the artist

Monica Farwell

Monica grew up in the Bay Area and as an artist often draws on her Japanese heritage for inspiration. She usually prefers a palette of violet, teal, red and yellow ink in creating detailed images of flora and fauna, especially cats, and women in patterned kimono.
