In addition to being an artist, Deborah Cooper is a natural storyteller who expresses herself freely and imaginatively, often launching into a story as her artwork unfolds. Her drawings are full of wide-eyed characters that are sometimes animals, sometimes people, and sometimes something in-between, and appear to be the inhabitants of a world of their own. Deborah is confident working with watercolor, acrylic paint, fiber, and collage, often creating spirited mixed media pieces.
