Darwin, a welcome new addition to Cedars Fine Art Studios, came to us with a love of drawing and a solid set of skills. He says he has been drawing since he was around five years old. While drawing accurately from photographs is his comfort zone, he is also eager to expand his knowledge and imagination into unfamiliar territories. He is eager to learn new techniques, mediums, and approaches, and is always open to suggestions. His sophisticated sense of graphic design is particularly notable in such works as his accordion-book portrayal of Downtown San Anselmo and his portrait of an adopted rabbit.
