Megan’s drawings and watercolors seem to vibrate with intensity. Her favorite subjects are Disney princesses, animals, and objects of desire such as Starbucks coffees and bottles of nail polish. The humming energy in her work results from Megan’s bright, vigorously applied colors, the exaggerated eyelashes and smiles on her figures, and the dynamic, almost dizzying, patterns in her backgrounds. Her clever, wire-like line delightfully defines every finger and toe. In addition to being a prolific fine artist, Megan is also a dedicated and successful jewelry maker.
