Robynn loves to travel, and is an adventurous artist and weaver always looking for a new challenge. She enjoys exploring a variety of media, and her subject matter comes from a love of natural science and art history: patterned abstraction, exotic and endangered species, architecture, and portraiture. She prepares for her creative work with a thorough search for images and ideas in books and magazines, then proceeds in her own direction. Robynn has a defined vocabulary of expressive forms she returns to again and again; some are playful while others seem to dig deeper at strong emotion. Robynn also has a talent for vocal impersonation and a background in theater, which might explain her flair for dramatic images.
