Skilled at copying images, he is now exploring how to use his saturated brushstrokes and strong graphic sense to develop his own unique voice. Benji loves depicting animals, as seen in his watercolor series inspired by the zodiac signs. He is also learning ceramics and shows a natural talent for incising images into clay—always working with a smile, according to his ceramics teacher.
