Recently I spent a morning at Marked Tree Vineyards, in the small North Carolina town of Flat Rock. Nestled in the mountains, the views are spectacular and the vineyards undulate over the earth. This old shed has been there forever, and I was drawn to the way the vines pointed at it. The soft purplish mountains made the scene spectacular. This original oil is 12 X 16 on canvas over aluminum panel, which is very archival and sturdy.
