This is the first sign commission I've ever tackled, and I learned a lot in the process. First of all, get the correct dimensions for the project before I start. Second, I learned how to take an image and manipulate it to make it work for a client's vision. I'm disinclined to do this very often, but found out, at least that it is possible if tedious and fiddly. The first image is the painting as I first created it by combining three different reference photos. That was also a first for me. The second image is the manipulated image in which I moved the big cow, fixed some of the edges and inserted the text.
