Annelies Heijnen was born in the Netherlands and schooled in Luxemburg before coming to the United States in 1979. She attended Kent State University focusing on ceramics under John Gill. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and solo shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri and NYC.
