Montlack holds a B.A. in liberal arts from the University of Miami in Coral Gables and has furthered her studies in design and painting at the Cleveland Institute of Art, as well as photography at Cuyahoga Community College. Although she initially embarked on her career as a textile artist, her current focus is on digital photography, exploring its potential as a starting point for both technical and creative processes. With the advent of accessible digital cameras, printers, scanners, and advanced software, artists and amateurs alike now have expanded opportunities for artistic expression.
