About the artist

Nicholas Ward

A Barbadian artist born in 1984, blends the influences of his mother's artistic flair and his father's agricultural background into his vibrant expressive acrylic paintings. His upbringing, cradled by the scenic landscapes of Barbados and the lush mountains of St. Vincent, infuses his work with a profound connection to Caribbean nature and culture. Educated in Barbados and further polished in Canada, Nicholas merges his musical and artistic talents to navigate and depict the beauty of the natural world. His creations, are enjoyed in homes across the Caribbean, as well as North America and Europe. Nicholas’s art is a creative testament to his heritage, showcasing his journey of exploration and the seamless fusion of artistry and nature in his life.
