About the artist

Trudie Wolking

Trudie Wolking, an abstract painter and teacher was born in Picayune, Mississippi in 1963. With her degree in education, she teaches professionally in the classroom. Trudie is a self-taught artist who has focused on encaustic since 2016. Commitment to the encaustic process has allowed her to follow her passion for art and painting. Her work has been in national juried exhibits and can be found in private collections. Trudie now resides in Lafayette, Louisiana.
