"Sandunes" is an evocative piece that captures the serene beauty of a coastal landscape. Measuring 20 x 16 inches, this acrylic painting invites the viewer on a tranquil journey along a sandy path. The scene is dominated by mounds of sand adorned with lush green plants and grasses, guiding the eye towards the horizon.

In the composition, bare-branched trees punctuate the left side, their stark forms adding contrast and depth to the verdant setting, hinting at seasonal changes or perhaps nature's cycle of life and death. The background reveals a glistening body of water under a pristine blue sky, reinforcing the coastal ambiance. Two birds, soaring gracefully on the right, complete this idyllic scene and add a touch of life in motion.

The overall mood of "Sandunes" is serene and calming, a moment of peaceful escape into nature's beauty. Inspired by the sand dunes of Lake Michigan, this painting encapsulates the tranquility and timelessness of a seaside setting, making it a perfect piece for bringing a touch of natural elegance to any space.
