Abstracted tree composed of color blocks made from solid-colored cotton fabric, hand cut improvisationally then stitched together, creating seams that appear as hand drawn organic lines. After sewing all the pieces together I layer it on top of batting and a backing fabric then stitch closely-spaced lines through the layers.
