Summer Echoes is a compact mixed media work on canvas panel evoking the lingering warmth and light of summer through layered color and texture. Astrid Steingrueber's use of mixed media allows for a rich, tactile surface that captures atmosphere as much as image. A subtle, evocative addition for collectors of contemporary small-format painting.
