Gipfelstürmer ("Summit Climber") is an oil on canvas landscape depicting mountainous terrain with a sense of ascent and aspiration. Astrid Steingrueber channels the physical and emotional experience of alpine landscapes into expressive, atmospheric paint handling. A compelling work for collectors of contemporary mountain and topographic landscape painting.
