Since 2015, their collaboration has produced several internationally recognized long-term projects, including Stone and Candle, a contemplation of Armenian monasteries, first monasteries of the Christian world, Desert Agreement, a study of modern Dubai architecture, Urban Currents, an abstraction of cities’ energy.
People appear infrequently in their images, fleetingly, blurs across the frame. This absence attests to the smallness of humanity in geological time, the light of a firefly over a century, a fragile—but often destructive—presence.
Their work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in Armenia, Japan, Russia and the United States.
