Mississippi native Alexis Jones has shown a continual evolution in artistic journey since an early age. With a foundation in graphic design, digital drafting, and illustration, Jones honed skills and creative concepts while earning a degree in Visual Communications from Austin Peay State University. Beyond the structure of formal education, Jones has remained deeply rooted in the artist’s spirit of play—where freedom, spontaneity, and abstraction converge. It is in this space that Alexis brings to life imaginative, colorful worlds and topographies inspired by personal perceptions of nature. Using reclaimed materials such as plexiglass, plywood, and vinyl, Alexis constructs vibrant landscapes that reflect both innovation and exploration.
