About the artist

Lorenzo Swinton

Natural talents and gifts are bestowed upon all of us through the Creator, Lorenzo sincerely believes that while the passion for many forms of creativity has always been with him since an early age, art is the one true calling. As we all journey, experience and question the meaning of life and purpose; he feels that it is what we give, what we present and what we leave for others that determine the shape of our physical, mental, emotional and social existence. Lorenzo’s continued path of evolving artistically has been a blessed and highly favored one, producing art that is subjective, conceptual and raw; from abstract to narrative. He asks for his work to speak to the audience rather than the physical being of himself, which at times can be flawed or misunderstood.

Lorenzo also owns an art gallery in Clarksville, TN featuring a selection of diverse artists from Tennessee. Visit him at Lorenzo Swinton Gallery and enjoy downtown Clarksville while you are there.
