Fleur de Lis

Arts New Orleans and the Fore!Kids Foundation teamed up to produce these Fleur de Lis sculptures that spread around town through October, 2007.

The 40 fiberglass structures were built by Mardi Gras float king Blain Kern. Artists were chosen by Arts New Orleans.

The first public art project since Hurricane Katrina, the sculptures will were sold at auction in the fall of 2007. Proceeds went to 40 different charities supported by the Fore!Kids Foundation.
