The Municipal Training Academy is the facility responsible for training the City's police, fire and civil employees. These organizations are represented in the artwork, which consists of monumental images of a book, pencils, a fireman's helmet and a policeman’s badge. The title of this aluminum sculpture "Society 101," refers to the designated number of all entrance level courses in a college curriculum.
