Smaller canvases are a big challenge for me. I find it easier to paint large…I enjoy the feeling of energy that I get as I move around a canvas and apply strength from my body to get the paint on the canvas. I wanted to see if I could overcome the lack of “canvas space” and still be able to paint something that involves energy and colors. This is an exploration of purple in all of its glory. I think it is more than just a visual experience; “Irises” offers a space for interpretation and reflection, where you are encouraged to find your own meaning within its layered depths. Let yourself be drawn into its world, where the interplay of color and texture invites you to pause, reflect, and maybe see something a little differently.
