Watercolor on paper

12 x 16.5 in

Teacher: Jenny Li
School: Gold Coast Art Gallery(GC ART), Brisbane, Australia

Excerpt from artist’s Impact Statement: "My watercolor tribute captures Howe’s dual devotion to heritage and experimentation. At the canvas’s heart, his translucent portrait emerges through layered sepia and Payne’s gray washes. By letting the paper’s texture show through his face, I symbolize his role as a bridge between eras."
