Artist Aidha Cader's journey into Islamic art was inspired by her visit to the Taj Mahal. She studied Islamic art and architecture online at the University of Oxford and under Tasleema Alam at the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Art. Her extensive travels across various countries have deepened her appreciation for diverse traditional art forms. 

Aidha's creative process involves geometric compositions drawn using compass and ruler techniques on tea-stained Italian Fabriano paper, enhanced with layers of gouache paint and gilding, merging traditional techniques with contemporary colors. Each piece reflects a blend of history and modernity, leading to commissions from international patrons and placements in private collections and restaurants. Her work aims to convey the essence of Islamic art while revitalizing its expression.
