This one came from the heavens...with a special meaning behind it. 🙏🦋✨
Butterflies have such a high vibrational nature that some people believe that it allows them to be in touch with two realms at the same time (physical and spiritual). As angelic creatures, they are often seen as messengers from heaven--signs of love, luck, good health and healing.
This butterfly first came to me on an important day--July 20, 2018. (I can't believe it has taken me 4 years since then to actually paint it.) 🎨On that date, a white butterfly came to me and stayed on my hand for 20 minutes before I had to give a speech for Dad's memorial. We planned for a reggae/steel drums party on the beach, just as dad would have planned🎉🏖️🎶🥁--a fun party but nevertheless, I was pretty nervous for so many reasons that day. This white butterfly, though, flew into my bedroom (in the cottage) just before I had to speak. It calmed me in such a way that it is hard to even describe. It gave me strength, hope and truly confirmed for me that angels DO exist! ✨The last photo is the real butterfly that visited me. I don't know if you can also see the little black heart on its wing(?).🖤
After the 20 minutes on my hand (which was dad's number, by the way--for his birthday, his hockey sports number and his office address)... the butterfly fluttered to the floor, crawled under the bureau and said goodbye, gently folding its wings. The magical moment was completed and we were both ready in our own ways. He was ready to go and so was I.
