Whispered Reverie is a fused glass creation, centered on a softly shaped heart rendered in gentle shades of white, lavender, and pale blue, blending seamlessly to evoke a quiet sense of calm. Around this calm core, a complex tangle of black and white patterns unfolds weaving together geometric shapes, looping curves, and delicate petal-like motifs. These detailed elements create a textured background that both contrasts and complements the smooth heart at the center. Subtle hints of blue are thoughtfully dispersed throughout, adding depth without overwhelming the composition. Small blue glass balls, added to the background design, add texture and interest to the fused glass surface. The painted wood panel frames the artwork, lending a refined finish that grounds the piece while maintaining its light, contemplative mood. The result invites viewers to linger in a space where softness meets structure, and gentle emotion coexists with intricate detail.
"Whispered Reverie" is adhered to a 10"x10"x1.5" wood panel painted a shiny gold and is ready to hang. I added my signature glass "tattoo" design on the gold side of the panel which mimics the front and adds interest.
