Where Lines Wander
12" x 24" x 2" | Original Textured Fused Glass Wall Sculpture
A study in movement, light, and unexpected dimension, Where Lines Wander brings together a softly painted blue-and-green landscape with a lively collection of geometric glass forms. Dark lines wander across the surface, intersecting and framing the layered pieces of glass and creating a sense of movement that continues from one element to the next.
The dark blue transparent glass is positioned on edge and finished with gold on top, creating a striking dimensional line that changes character as you move around the piece. Other gold elements are equally playful with light—appearing solid and metallic in one moment, then revealing their transparency when the light hits them differently.
A small glass tattoo on the side echoes the visual language of the larger artwork, adding a quiet detail to discover when viewing the piece from another angle.
As with all of my textured fused glass works, the dimensional glass invites you to look beyond the front. From the side, the transparent glass edges reveal another layer of color, light, and construction.
